If you're visiting North Haven island, there are a number of activities and attractions you will not want to miss. No matter the season, North Haven is vibrant place, full of interesting things to do.

Nebo Lodge: Restaurant and bar, Barn Suppers and 9 bedroom inn

Turner Farm: Seasonal farm stand, Barn Suppers

Calderwood Market: Local foods market located in Calderwood Hall

North Haven Oyster Co: Try the freshest local oysters the island has to offer!

Foggy Meadows Farm: Variety farm stand located on Crabtree Point

Cider Hill Farm: Located on the North Shore

Sheep Meadows Farm: Located on Crabtree point

Saturday Farmer's Market: Located at the ball field downtown, 9-11am

Bubba Gump's Fresh Island Lobster: Have lobster delivered to your doorstep

Waterman's Community CenterHub of activity spring, summer, fall and winter on the island. If you're looking for a cup of coffee or food, an art exhibit, a movie, play, or summer activities for young people, this is the place to be! 

North Haven Historical Society: Learn about the history and culture of North Haven

North Haven Conservation Partners: Learn about beaches, hiking trails, scenic vistas and parks such as Mullin's Head State Park, Tar Tank Beach, Ames Knob, Burnt Island and more.

 

TRANSPORTATION: 

Maine State Ferry: Runs three times daily between North Haven island and Rockland, Maine

Bikes: available to rent at Nebo Lodge

Sailing: Private sailing charters available all summer with the island's sole sailboat charter service, Blue Yonder Sail Charters!

Brown's Boatyard: If you are hoping to cross the thorofare to Vinalhaven, Brown's is the place to go

North Haven Gift Shop: The island's longest-standing gift shop full of souvenirs, books and more - don't miss it!

Hopkins Wharf Gallery: Works by artists who live on or are connected with North Haven island

ISLAND STAPLES: 

North Haven Library: Open M-Sat 1-5pm

North Haven Community School: The island's K-12 school is the smallest in the state! Part of the school is the high school magnet program, which brings students from the mainland to our school five days/week as full-time students.

North Haven Medical Clinic: Offers services 8am-1pm on weekdays
